The Depositor´s and Investor´s Guarantee Fund in Iceland has received thousands of claims from German customers of Kaupthing Egde. The Fund is still in the process of registering and filing all these claims along with answering requests from customers by phone and e-mail. (The Fund would like to point out that all customers of Kaupthing Edge will receive a confirmation of acceptance of a claim as soon as possible.) The Fund would also like to emphasize that a claim that reaches the Fund after the 30. December 2008 will not be rejected and that if further information will be required, then the Fund will ask for more information.
